IEPC 2019 in Vienna, Austria.

The IEPC is the premier international forum for spacecraft primes, hardware developers, government researchers, academic scholars, and students in the field of electric propulsion. The IEPC takes place every two years and is attended by more than 500 participants representing more than 25 countries.
The programme contains more than 350 technical presentations that span from propulsion device physics and development to on-orbit operation and satellite fleet management. The 2019 IEPC will have a rich and diverse technical programme featuring the latest developments and research results in the field, as well as a number of informative and educational events along with technical visits to nearby facilities.

Abstract submission has been open until 14th February 2019 for the 36th International Electric Propulsion Conference (IEPC) that will be held in University of Vienna, Main Building, Austria.

EPIC PSA plans to present an article in the IEPC-2017 on the PSA and SRC Electric Propulsion activities in coordination and collaboration with the selected 2016 call Operational Grants.

The International Electric Propulsion Conference is an international forum.  International participation is welcomed and recognized as being critical to healthy discussions about the present state and future direction of the worldwide electric propulsion community.

Electric Propulsion SRC papers are expected from the on-going SRC Operational Grants and from the EPIC PSA itself, as well as papers from SRC Call 2019 & 2020 potential candidates. The EPIC PSA will monitor in detail the IEPC 2019 activities and presentations as a first hand source of information of the new developments and trends on Space Electric Propulsion.

Papers are invited in all areas of electric propulsion, such as:

  • Commercial Propulsion Needs
  • Industrial-Scale Production of Flight Systems
  • Global Strategic Investments and Long-Term Planning
  • Hall Thrusters
  • Ion Thrusters
  • Field Emission and Colloid Thrusters
  • MPD Thrusters
  • Pulsed Plasma Thrusters
  • Resistojets/Arcjets
  • Innovative or Advanced Electric Propulsion Concepts
  • Cathodes, Gimbals, and Other Component and Materials Technologies
  • Propellant Storage and Feed Systems
