EPIC Workshop 2021 in Cologne

The EPIC PSA is pleased to announce that the EPIC Workshop 2022 on the activities of the Space Electric Propulsion SRC H2020 will be held at the German Aerospace Centre in Cologne from 4 to 7 April 2022. The workshop is organized by DLR and EPIC PSA

DATE

The EPIC Workshop 2022 will be held from 4 to 7 April 2022 at the German Aerospace Center in Cologne in the Conference Center and will be organized by ESA and EPIC.

CALENDAR

  • Interested speakers presentation proposals: title, description of the presentation, and speaker: 15th January (EPIC Abstract Submission Portal)
  • EPIC notification of acceptance based on relevance for the workshop and invitation to speakers: 1st February
  • EPIC preliminary programme publication: 15th February
  • General registration opens: 1st March
  • General registration closes: 16th April
  • EPIC final programme publication: 16th April
  • Invited speakers submission of final presentation material: 28th April
  • Workshop dates: 10-12th May

SCOPE OF THE WORKSHOP

Present the Horizon 2020 Electric Propulsion SRC activities to the EP community and stakeholders and to collect and assess the latest EP technology developments in Europe.

The Preliminary Programme will be published on this web epic-src.eu/workshop2022/ and will cover the following sessions:

  • PSA and SRC progress and activities (EC, REA, EPIC PSA),
  • Consultation on update on EPIC roadmap
  • Round table and stakeholders interaction on Qualification Strategies for EP (invited speakers),
  • Incremental SRC OGs:
    Final presentation of Phase 1 projects (CHEOPS, GIESEPP, HEMPT-NG).
    Objectives, proposed approach, team and progress of new Phase 2 projects.
  • Disruptive SRC OGs:
    Final presentation of Phase 1 projects (MINOTOR, GANOMIC).
    Objectives, proposed approach, team and progress of ongoing projects (AETHER, EDDA, HIPATIA, iFACT, NEMESIS and PJP).
  • New developments on EP Technologies, promising thrusters and transversal technologies (open to speakers),
